The death of a rock god

Ronnie James Dio passed away yesterday. If you don’t know who he is…well….you should.
He was the lead singer of Rainbow for a while. He was the lead singer of Black Sabbath for a while. He was solo for a while.
He is widely credited with inventing the “Rock On” horns gesture.
Love or hate his music, he influenced so very many rockers and was always psyched to play music or talk about music.
The musical world is a little darker today.
I was going to post a bunch of his videos on here but I won’t. Most of you don’t care to watch them. You can find them on YouTube or elsewhere if you want to experience a true rock god. (Holy Diver is probably his most known song.)

I remember him from LOTS of VH1 specials talking about music. I didn’t know he invented the rock on thing…interesting.
